People on the sidewalk say lots of stuff:

“Give my mother back” shouted angrily.

Lost jobs, sicknesses, veterans have it rough.

Racial epitaphs, conspiracies,

Politics: but when I’ve had enough

Is when it’s dark, then my spine starts bristling,

when someone’s sauntering behind, whistling.
