“She fills up her hollow sacredness with lists of things to roll over in her head like novenas. It began with her knuckle-cracking. How many times she could do it before her index finger would not crack anymore, and whatever that number is, she counts up to it one hundred times.

    1. Actually, I picked up a literary magazine for a change, thought it would be fun to support some emerging writers, bu this one is just as well bound as a book! I was glad the story on page 56 was one that had drawn me in more, though.

    1. Thanks! I was working on the fly and lost it while I was traveling, so I am glad it was a short story collection, and I already found resolution for this character!
