The Dust Jacket: The Weekly List, October 13th to October 19th

Another week with far too many events! Let’s see… I hate to keep getting sucked into the Hollywood stars gimmick…

…but Cary Elwes? As *I* Wish is right!!! I was one of those people who used to recite Princess Bride lines in school- the only shame I could imagine was for the people who didn’t recognize what I was quoting!

…and Neil Patrick Harris? Aside from loving him, I actually love the premise of this book, Choose Your Own Autobiography, which has the potential to be mind-blowingly adorable.

… It’s also a good week for Jane Smiley fans- three separate opportunities to hear her speak!

And, how could I fail to point out the Library Speed Dating event? Were I not already saddled with a wife and a kid, I might very well be there (and be square, because that’s kind of the point, right?)

Best of luck to you out there- hope you catch something good!
